Outings

Throughout the year, on an ad hoc basis (so you’ll have to subscribe to our email communication), we invite interested parties, students, and friends along as we attend various activities. These might include theater or film screenings, visiting an arts exhibition, or a walkabout through a crafts market.

The purpose is the conversation (afterwards over coffee or during the outing) whereby the exposure is integrated into practitioner learning. Here we are interested in testing ideas, sharing practices, and continue the learning journey of helping people

These outings are not compulsory for the online programme but are of tremendous value to students whereby a blended learning approach is created.

Depending on the outing there would naturally be costs involved, for example, theater tickets. Other than these ‘third party’ costs we attempt to offer this to as close to free as possible for registered online students.
