Leadership, management and mentoring

Leadership, management and mentoring

‘Leadership, management and mentoring – the narrative arts way’ is one of our showcase workshops for our online and blended learning programme Storyography.

While narrative practice for coaching, mentoring and other helping agencies would work just fine with any theme (personal or corporate) and any art form, for this workshop we are exploring nature, everyday spaces and architecture. It is applied to leadership and management and of course specifically to mentoring. Yet participants might well be psychologists, coaches, facilitators, organisational development practitioners or other helpers. It will only make a marginal difference and there is a secret behind ‘why’ that is the case.

We cover a range of ideas informed by varous themes; from nature to architecture. Tickle the taste buds for a bit of architecture.

The following event description and other events can also be found on our Facebook event page.

More

The idea of stories that this workshop covers is focused on the leader as an artist who engages the stories of others (and his/her own) as the very medium or clay. This clay can then be used for deep transformation, performance, organisational culture, strategy work (corporate related) or even personal romantic relationships (personal leadership and relationship mastery) and much more.

Fundamental to this approach is developing the authentic stories of contextually sensitive leaders and through them those they work with. This requires mentoring even more so than coaching.
